There are some who seem to have no heart when it comes to compassion. Then there are those with a super big heart like Ron Howell.
Desperate Woman With No Compassion
A woman who said she was desperate was about to dump a tiny little Chihuahua on a busy freeway.
Not Going To Happen With Ron Howell Around
Ron saw that the woman was going to dump the dog and stepped in immediately to rescue it. The only thing is Ron didn’t have much to offer the dog, because he was homeless himself.
A Passerby
As Ron sat cradling the abandoned pup swaddled in some of Ron’s blankets a lady was curious and pulled over to talk to Ron.
Ron’s New Responsibility
Ron told the woman the story about the abandoned pup, but how he was concerned that he could not take care of it properly .
Angel Takes A Picture
Ron’s story touched Angels heart and she took a picture of him and posted it on Facebook.
A Family to the Rescue
The post touched many others as it went viral, and a couple came forward to adopt the dog. Ron was extremely happy for the pup who had now become known as Louie.
Ron Goes Back To His Routine
Ron now content that the pup was in good hands, he went back to his normal routine of panhandling as that is all he had in life.
It Doesn’t End Here
Many who have read the story about Ron were extremely touched by his kindness. They grouped together and raised $7,000 for him as a gift.

One would think that a homeless person would want to hold on to every dollar they got, but in many instances this is not the case. Often they will give away their last dollar to help someone in need, and here is a classic example, although not all the endings are the same.
Johnny Bobbitt Jr From Homeless to Millionaire
A young lady ran out of gas, and Johnny wanted her to stay safe, so he went to the local gas station and got the gas he needed with his last $20.
The young lady was so impressed that over the next little while she would take small gifts to Johnny and they soon became friends.
A Huge Success
She ended up starting a Go fund me for Johnny and let everyone know what Johnny had done for her. It was a huge success to the point where Johnny asked her to take it down because he didn’t want to take advantage of people.
She did take it down but the demand was so great from people that wanted to donate that she had to keep in running. As a result Johnny because a millionaire and has now bought himself a home and has gotten back on his feet.
A Lesson To Be Learned
These are two wonderful stories of compassion and where those who expressed it were rewarded for their efforts. There are many more stories of how many of the homeless are always willing to give, expecting nothing in return.
